“Why are we all so out of sync?”
“Why is it so hard to realize our potential?”
“Why does trust always seem to be a problem?”
If these questions are your questions, this weekend will help you understand and engage them at a deeper level.
Container Practice and other leadership techniques from the sea, brought ashore for you and your organization.
For Leaders who Teach, and Teachers who Lead.
A good ship’s crew is the model of a high performance team, consistently at their best in the most demanding circumstances. The challenges of the sea must be met with the strengths of mutual trust, clarity of purpose, and a high degree of self-organization.
In this context, leadership is a generosity practice, always focused on the best in everyone. It’s a practice everyone, not just the leader, can do.
We will explore:
Leadership as a generosity practice
Creating the potent situation that accomplishes our goals for us (Container Practice)
Leading with speech
Leading with silence
You can expect:
A highly interactive and experiential learning experience
Concrete techniques for improving your dealings with groups (business, community, family)
How to let the real world be the real teacher
A fresh perspective on self-leadership as the starting point
