ALIA Institute

We are excited to break the news that the 2011 ALIA Europe program is now quickly taking shape. The schedule includes a pre-program session with Otto Scharmer, parallel tracks (modules), mindfulness, the arts, guest speakers, and plenary events. Drawing on the networks of our new partner, Progressio Foundation, there will also be opportunities for leader-to-leader dialogues, hosted by exemplary CEOs, entrepreneurs, and other practitioners from business, NGOs, government, and society.

We will continue to post updates here as they develop, as well as on the ALIA website.

For registration and other information, contact Marcello Palazzi, Progressio Foundation, at magp@progressiofoundation.org

YEAH! I'm very excited! The Diversity group will shortly be asking everyone to think about ways they could help increase the diversity of participants to ALIA Europe - through personal donations, asking your company to sponsor a place or though simply encouraging those from diverse groups to attend. And if anyone else wants to join myself, Valentine, Zack and Maire-Claire on the working group, let us know!
Tthe Leadership Intensive takes place at the Mennorode Conference Centre, Elspeet, the Netherlands. It begins with dinner on Tuesday, March 8, and runs through mid-afternoon on Saturday, March 12.

Six parallel tracks run through through the Intensive, providing an opportunity for in-depth learning in a smaller-group format. Each participant chooses one of the following tracks.

• Women's Leadership, with Dorian Baroni, Barbara Cecil and Yolanda Hegngi

• Action Inquiry: A Journey Towards Leadership Alchemy, with Elaine Herdman-Barker and David Rooke

• How to Create New Social Realities: Leading with Power and Love, with Adam Kahane and Wendy Palmer

• Bringing Purpose & Values to Effective Execution, with Brian Bacon and Associates

• Flat and Vertical: Leading Transformation across Collaborative and Hierarchical Cultures, with Phil Cass, Toke Moeller, Monica Nissen, and Laura Weisel

• Leading for Profound Innovation and Change: Presencing and Theory U, with Arawana Hayashi and Martin Kalungu-Banda
And, we are particularly focussing on increasing numbers of young people (under 33) who will attend!.
Yes!
Just to let you know that I saw the message. The week starting 7 march 2011 is still blocked in my agenda. I will check every other week in progressio site to find out more. so far nothing yet.
warmest wishes,
Erik
Erik, Progressio will be handling registrations and we will both be responding to queries. The program website will still be under ALIA and will be up early next week (actually it's there now, but we are still tweaking). Glad to hear that you still have the dates blocked! Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving, Susan
