This month, as election fever sweeps the UK, the Thinking Tank http://thethinkingtank.co.uk/next.htm considers the role of VALUES for politicians. Do they have any? What should they be? Join us to build the manifesto of the perfect political party. As defined by you, the Thinking Tank.

What’s YOUR opinion? Where do YOU see this all heading? What has been lost and what is available for us to harvest to meet the needs of a changing world? This is your opportunity to be heard, to hear from others, and to become part of the solution—all from the comfort of your own laptop. 4pm-4.45pm UK time

Hi Catherine

I wanted to post my blog link 'Ideology Free third Party' here in US at the social net Gaia.com, but it was closed suddenly as I was gone overseas for two months. I lost over three years of posts many subject. Something to be concerned of by socia net users.

Never liked the word Think Tank because their agenda and behavior is to push very narrow partisan or sponsored agendas often undermining public well being. Same goes for many NGOs. So your Logo kind of says it 'Think Out of The Tank' and I like it except I would give the thinking part a little more wavy fluid form than sharp straight line.

How about using 'BrainQuiet' than 'brainstorm' ..using mindful-awareness before each meeting or discussion topic.

I may not be able to join discussion at the time. Wish you all the best and great participation.
Thanks for your observations Susmita. Indeed I did want it to be about people thinking independently rather than being led (as many "thinktanks" run by vested interests.

Sorry to hear you lost so much precious data - #i will make sure to back up all the Thinking Tank input.

Lastly your suggestion of mindfulness is a valid one. Silence in meetings will be an unfamiliar concept to many participants but I am going to be courageous and give it a go today!
