Sunshine Taxi Share - Planning

Use this discussion to connect with fellow travelers to share a "Sunshine Share a Cab" from the airport to the campus. How can you not want to start your conference in a Sunshine Cab.

If 4 people share a cab it is $50 or $12.50 a person and you meet your first 3 new people.

I'm arriving Sunday at 10:15 am. Who wants to share a cab?

Share-a-Cab: Call Sunshine Share-a-Cab (1-800-565-8669 in North America, or 902-429-

5555 outside North America), to reserve a taxi, preferably at least 48 hours in advance. Tell

them you are with the Authentic Leadership Program.

Rates are as follows: before 8pm: 1 person $28, 2 people traveling together $38, 3 and 4 people $50.

Hello, I'm arriving Saturday evening from a connecting flight in Detroit and land at 9:46 p.m. in Halifax. I've reserved the Sunshine Cab and would be happy to share the ride. The rates are higher that late and I'm happy to pay the first $45 so your cost would just be the addition per person.

Hi Heather and others,
I also am arriving at 3:01 pm on Sunday ~ I'm guessing we're on the same AC flight from Toronto. I see one other person, Charles Baron is arriving around the same time so maybe we could all hook up and travel to campus together. This is my first year so not sure how cabs get booked...is that something you do, I should do???

Judith - I'd be happy to share a cab! I'm new too, so I guess we just have to wing it! :-)

I just phoned Sunshine Share-a-Cab and reserved a cab for 3:01 on Sunday. I'm on flight AC608 from Toronto. Is that your flight?

The people at the cab company said that we have to report to Ground Transportation (between the 2 exit doors) to get our cab. It's under my name. So if you want to hook up there, we can go from there.

Charles, you're welcome to join us. We'll also have room for one other person, if there's anyone else coming in around the same time.

See you soon! It will be nice to get a head start and make some new friends on the way there! :-)

Thanks for the speedy reply and for booking the cab. Yes, that's my flight so I'll see you on the way...if we don't find each other on the flight, I'll meet you in the Ground Transportation area.

Cathy Bindewald has a cab reserved at 3 as well, so another group can form at the same time!

I have called the Sunshine cab company and have made reservations for Friday evening just in case some of you might be arriving from New York/Newark on Continental.
