Hi Folks,
I am interested in introducing mindfulness based programming into our community schools in Vancouver, and in transforming the educational system by offering alternatives to those working within the system.

For example I am offering a creative process class this December using dharma art practices to engage conversations about work, relationships, and daily life.

What are you all up to?
Margaret

Dear Margaret,

What a huge gift.
Is the class for teachers or students (age?)

The ballroom dance classes that profoundly affected New York students, teachers and the system, has just arrived in Seattle with the originator. Mad Hot Ballroom is the past movie about it. I get to see how this type of embodiment and relationship practice affects adults. Graciousness, connection, archetypical versatility, courage, adaptability, paying attention to another to support the dance we share. "...there is no dancer, only the dance.." .William Yeats (courtesy of Paul Warwick, who worked with my dance as path).

Warmly, Mia
Hi Mia,
The class is open.Last month I had a sparky conversation happening between two small groups: one 18-20 yr old, and single and the other 55-65 yr. old couples. They were delighted to be discovering similar insights about their perceptions as the generational boundaries melted with surprise and humour.

Class next week is a mix of artists, meditators, and women in business.
Warmly,
Margaret
