Thanks for the welcome message. Unfortunately, I'm unable to attend ALIA West at Royal Roads, but I do know someone who is and she is very excited (understandably!). I look forward to hearing all about it! Incidentally, I'll be there for three weeks just after ALIA West finishes for my second residency as a part of the MA Leadership program I am enrolled in there. It's a beautiful place - I hope all goes well and that you enjoy your time there.

Sorry, I've only just had a chance to revisit the site. I'm new to this on-line stuff. I'm not sure that I will get to Halifax this year. My module has just canceled. I've made a proposal to Susan to do some systems in nature walks instead of a formal module.

The snow is just leaving the ground here in Banff. We went canoeing on the weekend and spent a half hour up a tree while a Grizzly bear investigated our canoes. The bear was not aggressive, but it was overly curious.
