Birthday Bike

As we have just wrapped up an Art of Hosting and Harvesting gathering in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada yesterday, I sense a distinct gift received by the participants. Not unlike the first bicycle we long for - a whole new way to move through the world. This is a wondrous gift to receive, but that first bicycle does not come ready to use. In fact, great support is needed to figure out how to ride a bike: love and encouragement from my teachers, a hand on the seat for balance as I figure out this new…See More

Please share something about yourself, your work, and what draws you to the ALIA community.
In my life, work and play I seek opportunities to shepherd individual, organizational and community decision making into a new area where the following are front and center: pragmatic purpose, community health, financial and economic responsibility, environmental responsibility, cultural responsibility, public conversation. In the ALIA community I find tension (and I mean this in a positive, learning edge way) and nourishment.

Hi Beth

Unfortunately we won't be at ALIA this year as Sandy is studying. I hope all is well with you and your family. Hopefully we will meet up again next year.

Welcome Beth to ALIA! Congratulations on your pragmatic work and contributions in the human family and our world. In my assessment, ALIA Institute is a network of conversations where learning and development is possible. I like exchanges with like focused mindedness individuals who are serious about learning and development. I invite you to join my page as a friend, and my offer to you is the same. Also, I invite you to read my lastest blog on Glenda Eoyang, and I welcome your feedback and comments on my learning blog. I look forward to learning conversations.

Cosmic child,
Wali
