- Please share something about yourself, your work, and what draws you to the ALIA community.
- Larysa is an energetic and enthusiastic person. She was born in the “Black Sea pearl” of Odessa, in the largest European country of Ukraine, and has lived in the USA and Turkey. Her roots are deeply adhered to the long-struggling history of her country, which has inspired in her a strong feeling of social justice. Larysa graduated from Odessa National University with a Bachelor’s degree in Management of Organization and completed her thesis research on “Calculating Return on Marketing Investments”. Larysa has volunteered with AIESEC, the world’s largest youth leadership development organization, and has 5 years of experience in activating leadership potential of young Ukrainians. Through several corporate experiences she developed project management and personal development skills, and gained insights on seafood and cable production, home textile and energy industries. Her colleagues describe her as responsible, professional and always striving for excellence. Larysa has a passion for traveling, celebrating diversity of our world, and learning from the wisdom of local communities. She enjoys reading and taking pictures. Her philosophy of life is to be present.
