Please share something about yourself, your work, and what draws you to the ALIA community.
I am simply a college-grad in transition. I graduated in 2008 with a bachelors in psychology. After working 2 years as a research coordinator for a large psychiatry lab, I found myself isolated and disinterested with academia. I longed for connection and a sense of community. I am now working toward a degree in community counseling and exploring my creative interests. As I continue to search for my authentic self, I see ALIA as an amazing opportunity to foster growth and skills, as well as engage in meaningful conversation with others who seek awareness and value humanity.
