advantageous complexity

In nature it is easy to find evidence of how complexity may turn into an advantageous complexity. It is how organisms develop in evolution. Can we develop a theory of generative complexity which shows the potential of describing, understanding and explaining how this kind of complex organisms evolve over time? More simply, the question can be put as "What is life?"My approach is based on the extended causal framework which shows how linear relationships may have nonlinear bootstrapping effects…See More

I am wriring a book about generative complexity. This demands for a new kind of thinking in complexity, which is based on a reciprocal causal framework. This is an extended causal framework that is able to show that linear relationships may lead to bootstrapping effects through hitherto unknown generative mechanism of causation.
My modelling shows how people may bootstrap each other in and through the effects of communicative human interaction.
I like to share my new thinking with others, to open up new spaces of possibility of the hitherto unknown.
This asks for a new language. Will it be possible to develop a new language of complexity to make a link with real-world-complexity? I think we can.

Ton, I was being Wali and forgot to invite you personally. Note: Please, see my lastest blog on Glenda Eoyang, I welcome your feedback and comments on the blog.

Ton, check out my lastest blog :)

I trust that you will enjoy your new insights and learning this summer in Halifax with invited guest speakers and facilitators. I invite you to be open to learning an emerging field of the science of complexity, i.e., Human Systems Dynamics (HDS) and the Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS) in organic systems, i.e., organizational settings. The scholarship of Daniel Goleman and his research team in community life of humans describes it precisely as having the "science of results", to be adaptive in chaotic environments, no matter what. I am thanking you in advance for listening and being opened for giving yourself permission for new learning and new ways of being. I wish you the best ever learning at ALIA this summer. If you choose, please give my warmest regards to Glenda.

Now let's have beautiful exchanges/conversations and see our beautiful differences and notice our how beautifully we as individuals can place them in containers to make the difference that is the difference as we pursue three questions: What, so what, and now what? in multiple stories and realities. Subsequently, we would have the capacity to influence the difference that makes the difference and repeat the process, as it relates to organizational settings in chaotic environments, peace and conflict projects, substance abuse programs, programs with effective treatment for veterans suffering with symptoms of PTSD, marriages, youth at risk programs, leadership development programs, restoring lack of trust efforts, leading transformation projects, organizational culture change projects, integrating spirituality and leadership in organization development programs, transitional moments and non-verbal communication projects and/or case studies, and developing coherence in social intelligence in organizations projects and/or case studies. We look forward to the engagement and learning.

Warm regards,
Wali

Jon, I thank you for your response. Also, I appreciate your overview and look forward to reading your book. As a change practitioner I facilitate the generative nature and power of language. Currently, I am studying the science of complexity under Glenda Eoyang, Ph.D., executive director at the Human Systems Dynamics Institute. As learners at HSD Institute, we are in gratitude with discovering that all systems share a few fundamental characteristics, and remain excited with our capacity and abilities to adapt to chaotic environments responsibly. I submit the application of the theory of the science of complexity is growing. I am wishing you the very best in writing your book.

Warm regards,
Cosmic Child - Wali

Welcome Ton!!!! We are a global learning network of people who love the journey of being and becoming authentic leaders. Come share your natural gifts with learners. I am inviting you to join my page as a friend and I would like to join your page as a friend as well. I look forward to learning more about your interest in generative complexity, and ongoing conversations. Wali

Hello Ton

This sounds like a perfect conversation - I have been studying about complexity for a couple of years. I suppose for me the interesting thing is to notice how my frames of linear thinking come up so often even though intellectually I really am enthusiastic about complexity and then there is the process of noticing what happens when I work differently
