A Short List of Things I haven't Seen - ALIA 2010:
1. Morning Aikido Practice
2. The Motherhouse
3. A dissatisfied customer
1. A stunning day in Halifax that included a small herd of folks out to practice at 7 am with Wendy Palmer in the parking lot ~ I was not one of them as I'm still struggling with the time zone, I was still snug in bed! The good news, is that we got to play with swords in Wendy and Adam's module "Power and Love." Is it too late to ask for a sword for christmas?
2. If you have been to the Mount, you most likely remember the huge Motherhouse at the top of the hill. It is quite shocking to go up to the top and find that the building has disappeared - only a payment cap where the edifice used to command attention.
3. And finally, it was totally awesome to see the line up of people for the book launch of Susan Szpakowski's "Little Book of Practice" with illustrations by Barbara Bash. A very happy crowd of satisfied book owners!
