Gentle Heart Fearlness Mind. Three excerpts from a new DVD available on You Tube. From Alan:
This summer, Inclusion Press in Toronto published a DVD and booklet entitled, Gentle Heart Fearless Mind: Discovering Confidence, Compassion and Well-Being Through The Practice of Mindfulness. The DVD includes 8 talks I gave last year in Toronto to a gathering of people who work within the disability community, including government departments, agency administrators, front-line workers, and family care-givers. The talks are based on the practice of mindfulness from the Shambhala tradition, including the topics of basic goodness, gentleness, fearlessness and intelligence. The DVD especially focuses on self-care, how people can develop a genuine friendship with themselves in order to genuinely understand and care for others.
